Yearbooks ordered during the 2017-2018 school year are now available for pick up from Mrs. Lasenby in T8A, the art room. If you are a graduate and not in London, you can have a parent or friend come to pick it up, but please send them with permission so we know we can give it to them.

Grade 10 kit: $33.00 Kit includes: 2B, and 4B shading pencils, twin-tip Sharpie, white art eraser, set of 12 acrylic paints, #4 round and #10 flat acrylic brushes,, #1 detailing brush, sketchbook, canvas board,palette, printmaking and sculpture supplies
Grade 11 kit: $40.00 Kit includes: Shading pencils, set of 12 Watercolour paints, gum eraser, #10 round, #1 detailing and ¾” flat brushes, Watercolour pad, water colour palette, Prismacolour fine point marker, silk-screening and sculpture supplies.
Grade 12 kit: $45.00 Kit includes: Twin-tip sharpie, 2B charcoal, canvas board, #10 flat, #4 round, & #1 detail brushes, set of 4 Windsor & Newton Galleria Acrylic paints, 9"x12" hardcover sketchbook, Sculpture Supplies. Additional supplies needed to complete the independent study project must be provided by the students.
*Recommended for Gr 11 and 12: Coil bound hardcover 11 x 14 sketchbook for an additional $15.00(subsidized) This will be used for 2 years
Photography kit: $45.00 All necessary chemicals to process film and print photographs Toners, filters Use of film camera & black light-sealed bags Film cleaners and accessories Three negative sleeves 8 rolls of 12 exposure, black and white film 15 sheets of photographic paper Additional supplies needed for individual student works must be provided by the students.

BUSINESS & COMPUTER STUDIES The Business & Computer Studies Department offers courses in the area of:
Lucas is home to the first and largest DECA chapter in the Thames Valley District School Board. Members of the chapter have the opportunity to compete in local, provincial and international case competitions. Students will improve public speaking and leadership skills, apply concepts taught in business classes, and develop a valuable network of contacts. The DECA season runs from October-February. Talk to your business teacher if you're interested! Visit the DECA Ontario site for more information.
The SHSM in Business Studies is a specialized program which allows students to experience a range of business-focused learning opportunities while working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students who successfully complete their SHSM will have a special designation on their OSSD and will also receive an official SHSM Record documenting the credits earned, and the industry/business sector related certifications received. |

The SHSM in Technological Education focuses on the development of knowledge and skills related to residential construction. Students will gain hands-on experience using a variety of construction materials, processes, tools, and equipment; learn about building design and planning construction projects.
