Yearbooks ordered during the 2017-2018 school year are now available for pick up from Mrs. Lasenby in T8A, the art room. If you are a graduate and not in London, you can have a parent or friend come to pick it up, but please send them with permission so we know we can give it to them.

Grade 12 kit: $45.00 Kit includes: Twin-tip sharpie, 2B charcoal, canvas board, #10 flat, #4 round, & #1 detail brushes, set of 4 Windsor & Newton Galleria Acrylic paints, 9"x12" hardcover sketchbook, Sculpture Supplies. Additional supplies needed to complete the independent study project must be provided by the students.
*Recommended for Gr 11 and 12: Coil bound hardcover 11 x 14 sketchbook for an additional $15.00(subsidized) This will be used for 2 years

BUSINESS & COMPUTER STUDIES The Business & Computer Studies Department offers courses in the area of:
Lucas is home to the first and largest DECA chapter in the Thames Valley District School Board. Members of the chapter have the opportunity to compete in local, provincial and international case competitions. Students will improve public speaking and leadership skills, apply concepts taught in business classes, and develop a valuable network of contacts. The DECA season runs from October-February. Talk to your business teacher if you're interested! Visit the DECA Ontario site for more information.
The SHSM in Business Studies is a specialized program which allows students to experience a range of business-focused learning opportunities while working towards their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Students who successfully complete their SHSM will have a special designation on their OSSD and will also receive an official SHSM Record documenting the credits earned, and the industry/business sector related certifications received. |

Welcome to the Student Health Profile for Lucas Secondary School!! As part of registration for Physical Education or Interschool Sports, it is required you complete the following information prior to your student participating.
As a parent/guardian, or student (18 yrs or older) you are going to register an account, then add your student to the account and complete only their information. Start creating your account and complete your student’s health profile by selecting or entering this link lucasvikings.privitprofile.ca then followthe steps below. 1. Click the blue “Register” tab and complete account information then select the blue “Sign Up” tab when finished. You will then be taken to a Welcome message and will select the blue “Continue” tab. 2. You will then be directed to the Home page. On the left, underneath your name on the Home page click on the “Add Member” tab. A new page will open where you can complete your student’s information. You will then be taken to a page that says Copy Data. Select the grey “Cancel” tab at the bottom and you’ll be taken back to the Home page.
3. Be sure that you have selected your student’s name below your name on the Home page. A new Home page for your student will appear with information to complete. Start with the Personal Details Personal Details – Select the blue “Start” tab and complete 100% of all 3 sections. Answer every question highlighted with a red asterisk beside it. Once all 3 sections are completed, select the blue “Save & Exit” tab. (Back on the Home screen, make sure Personal Details indicates it is 100% complete) Medical Information – From the Home screen select the blue “Start” tab. A questionnaire will appear where you will complete all your student’s medical information. When you are finished select the blue “Submit” tab at the bottom.
From the Home screen, select the blue “Sign” tab beside Medical Information. Check the box under your signature then select the blue “Sign Document” tab. Then select the blue “Done” tab. (On the Home screen, Medical Information should have a blue “View” tab beside it when completed) Physical Education Consent - On the Home screen beside this tile, select the blue “Start” tab. You will be taken to a page where you will review then sign the form. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and select the blue “Submit” tab, then apply your e-signature. Medical Services – From the Home screen beside this tile select the blue “Start” tab. A new page will open with a statement. Select the box beside the statement, then apply your e-signature again. Click the Done tab when finished. (On the Home screen, Medical Services Authorization should have a blue “View” tab beside it when completed) Joined Class/Team – From the Home screen beside this tile select the blue “Update” tab. You will see a list of the school’s phys ed. classes and sports teams with the teacher’s name beside it. Simply select the box beside the class or team your student is participating in, then click the blue “Done” tab. (On the Home screen the class or sport year under the Joined Teams tile will appear when completed) * Please remember to inform your teacher and coach if any pertinent medical information changes during the season.
